Our projects aim to give direct support and reduce poverty and health
inequalities by giving beneficiaries the means to become independent through
basic entrepreneurship and production of goods for use by their own families and
communities. Provision of medical supplies and advice to people affected by and
at risk of various medical conditions.
• Clothes Collection, Distribution & Manufacturing - clothes and clothing
fabric are donated to communities who then make clothes, bedding, and other
household goods. The locally manufactured are then sold or shared within the
community. This project provides employment to a few people and free or
affordable clothing to local people.
• Food Distribution - Overseas based individuals and organisations provide
funds that are spent on buying food products in bulk. The food is then
distributed to small localised communities where the impact is easily felt.
• Entrepreneurship - Individuals are provided with locally relevant training
on how to set up a small business, source raw materials and market finished
products. Graduates of the training programme are provided with seed finance to
kick-start their small businesses. Over a period of a year, beneficiaries have
access to ongoing support and where possible, links with NGOs who can market
their products in the major cities or overseas. Products may include sculptures,
african jewellery or paintings.
